we can never be too careful
I went to the east campus to broadcast the recording of Listening Comprehension for Mid-term Exam. According to the new schedule of the exam, Listening Part was postponed untill halft past three. Ten minutes before the exam, I checked the radio station to ensure its stability. However, I had no sooner come back, than the director told me that there is a minor mistake in the first part. Like a heavy blow, I was taken aback. You know, I have never make such silly mistakes before. How come there are identical choices? I had checked twice before I uploaded the script to the public email box. Maybe I overestimated my judgement. Actually, I was a little careless when I was prescribing the paper, neglecting some crucial details.
I do draw a painful lesson from the experience. Upset and uneasy, I was pressed to sit down in front of the computer to write down what had happened to me. By exposing myself to the tough problems and reflecting upon the errors, I came to be confronted with the impending consequences.
